Los Angeles Humanitarian Awards
The Los Angeles Humanitarian Awards were inaugurated in 1986 to
recognize the leadership and contributions of individuals who have
significantly improved the quality of life in Los Angeles. The
Physician Humanitarian Awards were established to pay tribute to
the unselfish and compassionate efforts of physicians who exemplify
the mission and values of CHMC. Net proceeds from this annual
spring luncheon event benefit a specific priority need of the
hospital.

La Grande Affaire
Since its inception in 1990, this annual black-tie gala has
celebrated the best of France's gourmet cuisine and wines while
raising funds for priority needs of California Hospital Medical
Center. Following a reception, guests enjoy an extraordinary
five-course culinary experience created by the renowned chefs from
the Club Culinaire of French Cuisine. A professionally
selected vintage wine accompanies each course. Each fall, this
distinctive event--which also features silent and live auctions, a
raffle drawing for a luxury prize, and live musical
entertainment--draws more than 500 of Los Angeles' top business and
community leaders.

Women's Health Pavilion
The Women's Health Pavilion will be a state-of-the-art facility
that brings together a full range of medical and support services
for women and their children in one convenient, family friendly
location. Our philanthropic goal to help bring this major new
addition to our campus is $10 million.

Endowment
An endowment fund provide a permanent source of support, since only
the income earned from the fund can be spent each year, leaving the
principal to grow into perpetuity. We are more than halfway to
our $15 million Endowment Fund goal. You can help to secure
the future of California Hospital by making a gift to our Endowment
Fund today.
